THE TEAM FROM HOSKINS WERE ENGAGED VIA AN ECI AGREEMENT, WORKING THROUGH MULTIPLE COST PLANS AS THE DESIGN PROGRESSED. WITH AN EXTREMELY CONDENSED PROGRAMME THROUGH THE ECI AND ON SITE, WITH THE CRITICAL PC DATE A FOCUS AT ALL TIMES.

Features of this project include:

• With the designer based in Melbourne, the projects team undertook extensive sourcing for procurement in order to mee the construction programme.
• The client’s budget was also under pressure prompting extensive VE investigations with a large emphasis on maintaining the design intent and keeping the design detail.
• Joinery plays a significant part of the detail within the fit out and includes acoustic feature walls, large walls of full height cupboards from the entry through to the breakout. Tiered stadium seating plays a central role in the “town centre”.
• Specialist finishes include micro cement rendered walls, French style tumbled travertine flooring from entry and concierge through to the breakout, encompassing over 150m² of this specialist floor finish as well as multiple feature carpet insets.
