AS A PLANNED PILOT FLOOR FOR PARMELIA HOUSE, THE LEVEL 4 LIFT LOBBY AND AMENITIES UNDERWENT SEVERAL COST PLANNING EXERCISES TO DEVELOP A DESIGN THAT WOULD SUIT ALL FLOORS IN THE BUILDING. THE LEVEL 4 LOBBY AND AMENITIES REFURBISHMENT WAS PLANNED TO COINCIDED WITH A MAJOR FIRE SPRINKLER UPGRADE TO THE TENANT FLOOR, AND THE WORKS WERE COMBINED WITH THE MOST DISRUPTIVE WORKS UNDERTAKEN WHILST THE TENANT WAS ON CHRISTMAS SHUTDOWN.
Features of this project include:
Extensive planning to enable pre-procurement of subcontractors and materials so as works could commence over the Christmas shutdown period.
Invasive tenancy works were completed (ceilings demolished and rebuilt) with the installation of new wet fire services throughout the tenancy.
Complete demolition of the UAT and tenant bathrooms on the floor. New wall linings, ceilings and floors with plumbing designed to suit existing service connections.
All new finishes within the lift lobby completed the refurbishment and assisted in finalising the design for the remainder of the building.
