Fortescue Abernethy Road Facility Warehouse Fit Out

AN OFFICE WAREHOUSE CONVERSION ON A NEW SCALE

Converting a former logistics warehouse into a bespoke research facility for one of the most progressive businesses on the planet, was no mean feat! Our client was increasing their operations and selected the Forrestfield location for both size and location. With an expanding operational business, the 13,000m2 warehouse provided sufficient space to facilitate the operations of a number of key internal businesses, each with a designated “zone” and complex services associated with each division.

The base scope included significant structural upgrades to the main structure, with additional brace supports throughout, and increasing the capacity of fire sprinklers across the 13,000m2. New 50,000ltr storm water tanks installed under the existing hard stand as well as a large amount of civils works under the main slab to facilitate new hydraulic services throughout the warehouse.

Within each zone, a customised internal build took place, dependant on each stakeholder, and included large enclosed operational facilities with complex service installations.

The end result is a well-planned development that provides first class operational facilities for a number of operational requirements.
